GLP-1 Tracker was built to help people taking GLP-1 medications stay organized and in control of their health. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes, how it is handled, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have.
GLP-1 Tracker is developed and operated by Türker Kızılcık (“we,” “us,” or “the developer”), an independent app developer. For any privacy question or request, contact us at developerturker@gmail.com.
| Surface | How it works |
|---|---|
| iPhone & iPad app | No account required. Your entries are stored in the app's private on-device database. The only data that leaves your device is described in this policy (Apple Health sync that you enable, subscription processing, and non-health usage analytics). |
| Apple Watch app & widgets | The Apple Watch app and the Home Screen / Lock Screen widgets read from the same on-device data. iPhone–to–Watch syncing happens directly between your own devices (Apple WatchConnectivity); it does not pass through our servers. |
| Website | Our website hosts this policy and basic information about the app. Please do not submit health information through any website form or email unless it is necessary; if you do, we will treat it as sensitive and use it only to respond to you. |
GLP-1 Tracker does not require you to sign up or sign in. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any login credential to use the app.
If you choose to track your health in GLP-1 Tracker, the app stores the information you enter on your device, such as:
Why? To provide the app's core tracking features, charts, and reminders. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.
With your explicit permission, GLP-1 Tracker can integrate with Apple Health (HealthKit). When you enable this:
Apple Health data is processed on your device through Apple's HealthKit framework. We do not receive a copy of your Apple Health data on any server. You can grant or revoke Apple Health access at any time in the iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health screen or in the iOS Settings for GLP-1 Tracker.
Why? To let you bring in weight and nutrition from other apps and to keep Apple Health up to date with what you log here.
GLP-1 Tracker offers an optional premium subscription. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store, and subscriptions are managed using RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Through RevenueCat we receive subscription-related information such as your subscription status and related purchase metadata (for example, whether a subscription is active, the product purchased, and an anonymous app-generated identifier), so the app can unlock premium features and support troubleshooting.
Why? To process your purchase, unlock premium features, restore purchases, and manage your subscription.
To understand how the app is used and to prioritize improvements, GLP-1 Tracker uses Mixpanel for product analytics. This is limited to non-health, app-usage information, for example:
What we do not send to analytics: We do not send your health entries through analytics tools. This includes injection/dose logs, dosages, injection sites, side effects, weight entries, nutrition (calories, protein, water), mood, and any free-text notes. We also do not send your name, email, or precise location (we do not collect those at all).
All analytics data is encrypted in transit.
Why? To measure feature usage and reliability so we can improve the app. We do not use this data to advertise to you or to make decisions about you individually.
Our service providers (such as RevenueCat and Mixpanel) may automatically process limited technical information as part of providing their service, for example app version, operating-system version, device type, and network/request metadata (an IP address may be processed and temporarily logged by a provider for security, routing, and abuse prevention; we do not maintain IP address as part of our usage analytics). This helps keep the app reliable and secure.
| Data | Where it is stored |
|---|---|
| Your health entries (injections, weight, side effects, nutrition, water, mood, notes, reminders) | On your device, in the app's local database and settings. Not stored on our servers. |
| Widget & Apple Watch data | Shared locally between the app and its widgets / your paired Apple Watch on your own devices. |
| Apple Health data (if enabled) | In Apple Health on your device, controlled by you and by Apple. |
| Subscription status | With the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. |
| Non-health usage analytics | With Mixpanel. |
Because your entries are stored on your device, they may be included in backups you choose to make (for example, an iCloud or computer backup of your iPhone). Those backups are controlled by you and by Apple under Apple's terms, not by us.
| Data type | Retention |
|---|---|
| Your on-device health entries | Kept until you delete them in the app or delete/offload the app. We do not control or retain them on a server. |
| Apple Health data | Retained in Apple Health until you remove it there. |
| Subscription information (Apple / RevenueCat) | Retained as long as reasonably necessary to manage subscriptions and as required by those providers and applicable law. |
| Non-health usage analytics (Mixpanel) | Retained only as long as reasonably necessary for product improvement and reliability, per Mixpanel's standard retention. |
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We rely on a small number of service providers, which are permitted to use data only to provide their services to us:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Apple (App Store & HealthKit) | Subscription purchases; optional on-device Apple Health integration. |
| RevenueCat | Subscription management (subscription status and related purchase metadata). |
| Mixpanel | Non-health product/usage analytics. |
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
Corporate transactions. If the app or its assets are transferred (for example, a sale or reorganization), information may be transferred as part of that transaction, with notice where required by law.
If you set up dose reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device using Apple's notification system. These reminders are generated on your device. We do not operate a push-notification server and do not send you marketing notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, export, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your information, and to withdraw consent. Because your health entries live on your device:
You can also email us at developerturker@gmail.com with any request. To protect your privacy, we may need to confirm details of your request before responding. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region requiring a legal basis to process personal data, we rely on:
We treat the health information you enter or import as sensitive.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to help protect information, including Apple's on-device protections and encryption in transit for data exchanged with our service providers. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
GLP-1 Tracker is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Our service providers may process limited information (such as subscription status and usage analytics) in the United States or other countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are used.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted at this page. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required.
